HIMYM - 'Now We're Even'

First of all, I was just checking my stats, and apparently I have a lot of readers from the USA! Hello good people of the US!!! I will refrain from calling you American (if you want to know why, go look up the Arrogant Worms song 'I am not American'. It's a hoot.) but thank you for all the page views! I cracked 500 overall the other day!! Yes, considering I have 60ish posts, this isn't that impressive, because it averages out to around 8 1/3 veiws per post, but still. I'm an optimist.
So anyway, this episode. I know I am a week behind, but shh. I have school, and a job, and friends and whatnot that keep me busy. I can't sit at home all day watching my beloved TV. (Although, wouldn't that be AWESOME?!)
I'm not at all surprised that Ted's first instinct when he realised he had his own apartment was to walk around naked. But let's hope for his sake that his new place doesn't have a giant picture window, cos if it did he may end up accidentally seducing someone across the street like Rachel on Friends (thank goodness in her case it was only Ross!). Lol! And Marshall's jealous awe
Plus Barney keeps bragging about dating a stripper lol... Was Marshall just sniffing Lily? And he hinted hinted about peeing and that made her have to haha.. She was having a sex dream about soeone else? Awks... Lol she's such a bad liar! Uhoh she turned vermillion - is that a real colour? Weird. Ohhh so he was trying to see if her eyes gave her away! Smart. Also strange that he always does that whe he's talking about the same thing lol... But I do love recurring jokes! Lol Barney's 'night we ____________'s are pretty funny, but not necessarily 'legendary... Especially the night they brought a horse into the bar, that seemed kinda boring. And the night they ate everything on the menu? Didn't that just make them sick?
OMG her sex dream was about Ranjeet???? The cab/limo driver??!!! Da hell?? And Marshall's PISSED oh damn lol
I love that Barney wants to bunjee-jump off the statue of liberty... Steal a mummy from the museum of natural history... Party with the mole people... and track down Phil Collins, become best friends with him and convince him to reunite with Peter Gabriel so then we got to sing backup on the new Genesis album and it was awesome. In that order teehee. I also love that he went 'you got locked out, dummeh' :P
Uh-oh Marshalll and Lily are having a fight about her 'sleep-sleeping around' lol and Ranjeet kept listening hahah
Now Barney wants to steal a camel? Not as good as the Genesis one, I'm just sayin. Cos I do love my Phil Collins lol. And his wordplay when suggesting it was pretty epic lol.. But then Ted pointed out tht if every night is legendary, no nights are legendary. I feel like someone pointed that out before... Maybe it was Ellie on Chuck? Telling her husband 'You can't say everything is awesoe! If everything's awesome, then actually everything is just mediocre!'? I think that might have been it.
Barney has a point system for life XD
Shits, Robin's a traffic reporter lol and the helicopter pilot's having a stroke O.O
And Barney wants Ted to get a girl's phone # while wearing a dress. haha...
OMG Robin had to fly the chopper haha and she landed it and everyone was watching wow.. I love when the whole world comes together to think about something :) Especially when it's not somehing tragic!
And apparently Lily only has sex dreams about good fathers hahaha... But Barney's planning all those nights cos he's lonely while Quinn's stripping cos it depresses him to think about that :(
And hahah Ted's wearing a dress! And perfume! OMG laughter XD But they're 'even' lol

And that's it for this episode, my dears. What kind of insane things have any of you done, on a bet, or a dare/challenge, etc? Which 'nights' would you have taken part in? Or come up with some of your own! And was Phil Collins better in Genesis or as a solo act? Leave your comments below! :)

Glee - 'Saturday Night Glee-ver'

Their opening song - 'You Should be Dancin' by the Bee Gees - had been stuck in my head the night before, but not because of Glee (in fact, I didn't even know they were going to do that song) but because I had been watching Despicable Me! I love that movie! And that song is in it! So another weird coincidence about Glee episode timing - go see my 'Big Brother' recap for the first one.
I love the guy... Wade? who came from Vocal Adrenaline to talk to Mercedes and Kurt about going onstage dressed as a woman. I loved his flahback about Jesse St. James being angry - he's so scary!! But I'm glad he was back, he's so crazy but very entertaining - and very talented.
Mr. Schue would have a diorama for planning out every aspect of the glee club - and I totally adore when they do voiceovers, and they all kind of run together :P
I got so happy when they said they were only doing songs from Saturday Night Fever in this episode! (Also, where the hell did they get that dancefloor? I want one.) My mom gave me the 2-disc record she had of the soundtrack when she was a kid, so I brought it out and had it watching the episode with me - I'm sure it would want to know it's still relevant! Haha
Their danceoff to 'Night Fever' was pretty epic, I found it hilarious that Sue can't dance, neither can Finn - and then I realised that they're pretty much the same shape! So maybe that's why...
Mercedes' rendition of 'Disco Inferno' was so intensely wonderful. I've always loved that song (c'mon, other thn Hyde from That 70s Show, who doesn't?) but her version was really good :)
'If I can't have you' was really just bleh for me, I have had mixed feelings towards that song - I mean what is with the 'ah-hah-ha' part in the chorus? Sounds like she's laughing - but Santana's voice just sounded bored! And she also scared me afterward, when she was going on and on about how 'I will become famous' - it was almost like Quinn's 'I will walk across the stage at graduation' speech from last week! And speaking of Q, she was MIA for the majority of this episode!
Rachel's continuing to do what she does best - irritate me - and HA Finn's best suited for a career as a competitive eating champion XD why can I not picture that? Maybe because it's gross. Anyway, Rachel went on to over-enunciate every word in 'How Deep is Your Love' and I muted the TV.
I feel so bad for Finn because he's not the brightest but he does try to do well, and of course Rachel's all over pressuring him, saying 'There's no rush' for him to make up his mind about the future - and then go on to basically say that he should rush anyway. I don't understand his unwillingness to actually go along with them, he seems all gung-ho and then he throws the pamphlets in the trash :/
Oh dear lord, Britney made a sex tape of her and Santana, interspersed with shots of her cat doing household chores LMAO- she said she did it cos Santana wanted to be famous... But I think that would be more infamous, not that Britney would know what that means haha.
'Unique' (the guy in drag) was actually very impressive - great voice, great dancing (of course I love Boogie Shoes haha) and very good at looking like a woman. Also, great reaction from Jesse when he saw Wade in the dress onstage XD he was doing this face O.O at first and then the most angry face I've ever seen from him... The only bad thing about this song was the fact that I kind of wanted a known character to do it - in fact, I remembered back to Season 1 where Mercedes had made a joke about K.C. and the Sunshine Band and Artie had said 'Hey, I love Boogie Shoes!' and I think he would have done a good job of it :)
Finn and Rachel got all mushy... And then he did 'More Than a Woman' and all I have to say is the following: Never again. NEVER again with the falsetto, Finn!!! There's a guy in my music class who has a great falsetto (he can probably hit higher notes than I can) and Kurt probably could have done OK with that song (another person missing this episode!) but NOT FINN PLEASE NO MORE FALSETTO!! Aaaand he's decided he wants to be an actor! Yaaay...? Kinda surprised me, to be honest, but still - yay!
Ok. Why does Mercedes not like Sam. WHY?! He's so incredibly sweet! He posted her 'Disco Inferno' video on Youtube and it had tons of positive comments and people wanting her to get a record deal. And then she and Sam kissed! I know I've always been a fan of Finn, but lately he's been kind of boring and a doormat, so Sam is officially my new favourite!
Britney got the good idea (which, as Sue pointed out, is a very rare ocurrence) for Santana to apply for a cheerleading scholarship, and she got accepted to University of Lincoln (which, as Britney pointed out, is in Lincoln) and she can do whatever program she wants and get famous, somehow, that way.
DAMN FINN WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT THE FALSETTO!! Ok I guess he only did a couple lines. And it was 'Stayin' Alive', which pretty much demands a falsetto. But even Mr. Schue's was better. I'm just sayin'. And they all looked kinda silly in the white tuxes - very few people can pull those off! But it was a fun way to end the episode - and my mom pointed out Quinn was missing from that number, too.

Did you hate Finn's falsetto, too? What are your thoughts on Samcedes? Please leave a comment and let me know what you thought of the episode! See you next week!

Bones - 'The Don't in the 'Do'

First of all - those blue birds? Gross. And they're dead. Grosser. No matter how many times they show dead people on this show and the various CSIs, dead animals always gross me out and make me kind of sad.
I feel bad for Bones because she can't fit in her old clothes, and she can't get comfortable - since I've been watching older seasons on DVD at the same time as the current season is airing, I've noticed that her style has really changed and become more bland. She's also beginning to look slightly different, of course Emily Deschanel will always be super-gorgeous, but she does look different, since she was pregnant in real life.
The tiny part of my brain which remembers my Grade 11 World Religions class quite enjoyed it when Bones made a joke about the Hindu god Vishnu, who was blue... At some point, I think before he died... That tiny part is apparently no longer paying attention. But she said 'He died thousands of years ago, so I think his decomposition would be a little more advanced' and did her little snort-laugh and I loved it!
Vaziri is usually pretty boring, in fact he and Daisy are my least favourite of the interns (wait, is Clark still working there? If so, add him to that list - although at least he's kind of cute). This episode was pretty funny though because he was all excited and happy, at first I thought he was high, and then we find out he was getting an article (potentially) published in the Journal of Forensic Anthropology - yes I remembered the whole title - and he wasn't supposed to tell anyone, but he told Hodgins and somehow the whole lab found out. This is the best plotline to involve him since we found out he was faking his Indian accent!
So the dead Smurf was a popular hairdresser, who was also a man-skank... And who looked like a woman. Very confusing. But hey, he's a hairdresser. AND THEN the grossest part of the episode - we find out that he had been scalped right before his body was set on fire! I mean, when Brennan first showed up at the crime scene and asked where his hair was, I was thinking 'uhm, hello, there is such a thing as baldness...' but now I realise that his entire SCALP was missing, and that's just... Ew.
I loved that Sweets' idea for making Bones feel better was for Booth to get her lingerĂ©... And I love how awkward Booth acted when going into the store. It was a bit of TMI when Sweets started talking about going into that store for Daisy, but the lady cut him off and knew exactly what they should get :P
So after that uncomfortable shopping trip, they cornered the guy they were there to talk to in the first place.. Carrying a giant bag of human hair. So apparently that guy and his brother cut the hair off corpses that are about to be cremated, and then sell the aforementioned hair to the salon where the dead guy had worked - to make hair extensions. EW EW EW EW EW!!!! Nuff said.
I loved the next scene, where the young (I'm guessing, first day on the job) public defender-lady who was hired to defend the guy with the bag of hair got all grossed out by everything he was saying - she kept jumping in with 'What?!'s and 'Oh my god!'ses lol it was very entertaining, especially when she tore out her own extensions and took off because she was so repulsed hahaha
Then Vaziri found out that his paper was not going to be published after all, and he was really upset, because it had been 'bumped in favour of some fluff peice about Selena Gomez going on an archeological dig'. I found tht reference hilarious (partly because I doubt she would, and partly because even if she did, I doubt 40-something out-of-touch-with-pop-culture scientists would care) and even more so when Brennan kept referring to her as 'Dr. Gomez' and saying she was unfamiliar with her work.
So it turned out that the jealous feminine shampoo boy had killed the stylist-man, cos he had just wanted his own chair at the salon, but the victim had laughed at him and said he wasn't good enough. Yet the victim had trusted the shampoo boy cutting his womanly hair. Weird. Anyway, the shampoo boy had killed him and then scalped him because his hair was 'the most beautiful I had ever worked on' and he had kept it, on a mannequin head in the salon - which kind of looked like the victim O.O (and that was enough to make me want to vomit..)
Side note: Booth's father was apparently a barber, and I loved the way he knew all the techniques and tools they were using at the salon - and I loved the use of the word Barbicide XD (there was this stand-up comedian I saw online once who had a hilarious joke about Barbicide, so every time I hear it now, I laugh.)
Then Booth presented Bones with her gift and they joked about going to use it while Christine was asleep, and bringing their chocolate ice cream with them... Which made no sense to me, cos I think Bones would have problems with chocolate ice cream getting all over stuff; she is, after all, a neat freak... And then Christine woke up :P Quite the mood-spoiler, crying children lol

Was I the only one who found this episode really gross? What's up with Sweets and Booth suddenly giving each other relationship advice? Leave a comment and let me know what you thought!
See you next week!

How I Met Your Mother - 'Trilogy Time'

LMAO I love the guy watching Barney, but he's actually just farting every day at 8 o'clock XD
I don't understand how Barney got 'religion' out of mugs... At least his other suggestions were related!
OMG CONTINUITY ERROR!! Robin said 'I've never gotten rid of anything, for any relationship, ever.' BUT THAT'S A LIE!!! When she and Ted were dating (Season 3ish?) she got rid of her ogs, because they had been given to her by ex-boyfriends and Ted was jealous!!! Also, I don't understand how people can get rid of all their stuff when moving in with someone. Even if the relationship stays solid forever, weren't they even slightly attatched to all their other stuff?? I would never be able to do that - then again, I can't even throw out old tests. So maybe I'm a bad example.
Barney is a pig, guys, I don't know how this surprises you, that he's saying he needs to 'assert his dominance'. Of course, Quin's dating him, so she obviously doesn't know about his piggishness, bit the rest of you have no excuse! But I did love all the incoherent yelling, and then Marshall 'You have a mother!' hahaha love those guys
Lol they're just gonna watch the Star Wars Trilogy! Love them so much XD And they're predicting the future lol... Hahahaa Marshall's knighted? And come on, even Barney's cooler than 'WAZZUPPP??' Also, I'm not sure why Lily's leaving is related to Marshall not having a moustache... I'm glad Marshall also hates trucker hats lol they're so douchey!
LMAO Robin in the Storm Trooper outfit haha and Barney made a rediculous cover story to cover their relationship... Evidently something's seriously wrong with Ted!
Poor Ted-in-3-years :( But I know he must have met 'the mother' by 2015 cos David Henrie looks no younger than 15 in '2030'...
And Marney is in love with Quinn! <3 awwwe he's so sweet! And now he's making things awkward but still, awwwe...
So HA he did meet the mother by 2015 - but of course voice command still doesn't work then lol
I think Ted would make a good dad lol... Except for his long-winded stories, of course. :P

NCIS: LA - 'Patriot Acts'

Lol that is why you do not drive distracted... you'll run into some guy with a bomb in the back of his truck lol...
Also, Deeks is jealous of Kensi hanging out with Nell haha... I think it's good for them to be hanging out amongst all  the testosterone lol! But Deeks may not be so manly - he and Eric are the only 2 who have ever seen Sound of Music!
The guy with the bomb was arrested by the FBI (and the Feebs are being assholes as per usual on this show) so they can't interview him... But it's not all bad news, because.... NATE'S BACK!!!!!! :D So much happiness about this fact haha
I wonder how long it' s been since he's been there... Are he and Deeks well acquainted? Hmmm he's a shrink, i wonder what he would have to say about Deeks and Kensi's partnership... And Deeks's jealousy issues!!!! Oooh that'd be good!!
Yes I'm rambling, the video is frozen -.-
Why does no one ever hug their comrades on this show?? They haven't seen him in ages, and people get shot and recover and no one hugs them!!!
HA Eric and Nell to the rescue lol I love that he tech nerds are the most 'human' lol... God she's tiny... And ooh, hinting at a relationship between Nell and Nate? I think Eric will be getting jealous...
So Callen and Sam trick one of the FBI agents to let them into Gavin, the bomber's house... But then Agent Ambrose shows up and kicked them out.. But Deeks and Kensi show up to the diner where Gavin was arrested, and find his goth-chick girlfriend.
LMAO Eric's going to 'work out' at the gym with rediculous shoes which apparently 'build arch support' hahah i knew it - he's awkward/jealous about Nell and  Nate... OOH Nate's a smart one, he noticed that Nell was flirting with him earlier when he first showed up, but not now, when the two of them are alone... So clerly i has something to do with Eric! and she was clearly rying to make Eric jealous!!! OMG!!! So then in an effort to prove him wrong she says 'Okay, Eric? Really? We're taking about Eric? I mean, Eric? Ok I'm gonna stop saying Eric now...' that was hilarious!!
Evidently Deeks says the same thing as I do, he says a word and then 'make that plural. Bikezzzzzzz....' lol cos a bunch of motorcycles came roaring towards the garage where they were waiting, the garage that Gavin had called before he was arrested.
And Hetty calls to say that a radical terrorist group called to take respinsibility for the car bomb - and said there would be more. UH-OH!! (but come on, I saw that coming!)
The FBI dude is a toolbag, he says 'oh Nate, how dare you blah blah you've gone over to the dark side' and Nate goes 'I thought there were no sides' HA love this guy he's so smart but he doesn't take crap - the best combination! Quick plot point - Gavin (the guy whose truck blew up) was an Iraqi war vet - his entire squadron was blown up by an IED. He tells Nate that he doesn't know who put the bomb in the truck - and he gets angry. Then he tells Nate that clearly the FBI has it out for him - and then Ambrose bursts into the room and takes Gavin out. Shocking. It's weird how the FBI are the good guys on Criminal Minds, but annoying on CSI and this show.
Deeks and Kensi (they need a couple name. Densi? Keeks?? I know they're not a couple, but they're a partnership lol) tried to act undercover and bust into the biker garage. I say 'tried' cos they took like 5 steps inside and someone yelled 'Cop! He's a cop!' Deeks chases a guy out the door, turns out he's an 'old friend' lol and he says someone was asking around for a small bomb - which would be used to take out someone specific - not a chemical bomb, like the one in Gavin's truck.
Densi are at the goth chick girlfriend's house, and she plays a 'giant violin' (cello) haha Deeks apparently used to play the violin O.O which makes sense, as apparently he's only 'part Neanderthal' awwe I love him lol
Eric traced the call which had told the FBI the tip about the car bombs - it's a giant abandoned building surrounded by parking lots, which, as Sam says, is the 'perfect place for an ambush'. They see a car siting in the middle of the lot, and as soon as Callen bumps the lock on the gate surrounding the lot, the car EXPLODES - it was really loud and actually made me jump lol and then I went to cover my ears, forgetting that I was wearing headphones. Laugh away.
They figure out that Gavin was not acting alone (which was pretty much a given from the beginning, since that's what the FBI thought, and they're ALWAYS wrong on this show...) and that Mia, the girlfriend, didn't 'exist' until 6 years prior. It was her phone on which the calls were made to the bikers, and she has disappeared since talking to Deeks and Kensi at the diner.
Ok I want to know how tall Nate is, is he massive? Cos compared to him, Nell's like a woodland creature, but - even though she's small - she doesn't seem that tiny compared to anyone, except maybe Sam... Come to think of it, Hetty's smaller lol so nevermind... Anyway they both kick ass, despite their small stature! Maybe I could learn from them :P Nell's now all confused cos she thinks Nate thinks she has feelings for Eric haha...
They track down Mia through her cello repair servicing guy.. Apparently she was actually named Jessica, and they find her parents' house being house-sat and they find out that Mia/Jessica had been dating a Muslim guy who was arrested for terrorism and then murdered while in jail - AND the busboy at the diner where Mia/Jessica worked knew the guy and had changed his identity, too - six years ago. Callen figures they're out for revenge because their friend was murdered. And Ambrose was the one who arrested the Muslim guy.
They go to catch him and - shocking! - he runs away. But it's ok cos Sam and Callen catch him after he takes off. But he won't tell them where Mia is - but Ambrose is her target, so Eric tries to track them.
They realise that Adam, the busboy, had set up Ravi, the Muslim student, and then recruited Mia after Ravi's arrest so that he could use her to get to the FBI. They track Mia and Ambrose to a baseball field and realise that she's there to try to talk Ambrose into releasing Gavin, so she would have wanted some way to record their conversation - and that Adam had put the bomb into her tape recorder.
Lol Sam takes the bomb from her and they go 'Do you know what you're doing?' 'No.' 'Is it safe?' 'No.' 'Do we all need to be here?' 'No.' and Ambrose takes off lol
So Ravi and Gavin were innocent, and Mia isn't in any trouble because she hadn't planted any of the bombs, she was only trying to prove that her friend was innocent.
And it turns out Nell and Kensi had been at the monster truck rally (Nell says very pointedly to Eric 'I don't have any plans tonight. Or any night in the forseeable future. Unless the moster truck rally comes back to town.') and she and Eric walk off together.. Leaving Hetty to get the last word, as always: 'I'm surprised I didn't run into them..'

Glee - 'Big Brother'

After (oh my god how many weeks was that? Five? Six?) TOO LONG, Glee is finally back!!
And Quinn is NOT dead - she's just in a wheelchair. For how long? Nobody knows. But shes insisting that she will dance at Nationals - a statement which made my mother and me snort because of its delusion and melodrama... But it's good to see her looking TOTALLY FINE AND NOT BANGED-UP AT ALL. Good greif, I know everyone on this show wears too much makeup, but c'mon! She was in a car accident for Pete's sake! She should at least have some kind of bruise or scrape...
Anyway, I loved when she and Artie (ironically) did Elton John's 'I'm still Standing'. And there was a funny story about that - until the day before this episode aired, I had never heard that song before in my life. The day before, the music video had been on Video On Trial (another epic show I watch - Canadian, too!) and it was introduced as 'One of the best-ever Elton John songs... With one of the worst-ever Elton John videos.' (You should go watch it, it's rediculously hilarious. And one of the dancers is now a judge on Dancing With the Stars. Also, keep in mind this video was made when people still thought Elton John was straight. Not sure how they believed that after that video, but I digress. Go watch it.) My mother insists that I must have heard that song at some point in my life previously - but unless I was under the age of 5, I would have remembered. I have a mind like a steel trap when it comes to remembering music. My family calls me a walking iTunes.
I loved Blaine's brother. He was hilarious, and brought one of the best-ever recurring jokes on this show ('If you want to be taken seriously, point.') He also looked a lot like Cheyenne Jackson, the guy who played the new Vocal Adrenaline coach - and was also on 30 Rock - and for some reason always plays a Canadian, even though he's American... Blaine and his brother totally ROCKED that mashup of 'Hungry Like the Wolves' & 'Rio' I love Duran Duran! :)
I also loved his performance of 'Fighter' it was really awesome how angry he was - I love when people punch-dance!!
I thought it was so cute how Artie and Quinn are together, especially when he told her 'you can do it. I believe in you' when she was scared of the wheelchair ramp - made me tear up a little! Except I felt so bad for him, because he was being so nice to her, since he's the only one who knows what she's going through, and she's all 'I don't need your help, I AM going to walk again.' Plus, even if she does get better, he's going to feel even worse, cos she has that chance of recovery and he never will.
Another heart-breaking story about this episode - Sue discovers that her baby is a girl, like she hoped, but it will have Down's Syndrome :( That's so sad that she always has to look people with disabilities, but it's such a kind, loving side to her, especially with the scene at the end when she hugs Becky and says 'she's gonna be just like you'.
I actually liked the rendition of 'Somebody I Used to Know' which is funny, cos normally that song makes me cringe  and here's why - the video is really weird and creeps me out, cos they're all covered in paint.. It's hard to describe go atch that one too. But anyway, every time I hear the song I picture the video and all its creepiness. But Blaine's version was different enough that I didn't really mind it lol and it is a good song!
Jesus-man (I can never remember his name!) was really nice talking to Quinn, even though she kinda shut him down at first - and is he now in New Directions? That'd be awesome!
We ended on a good note (for me, at least) Finn developed a backbone! And he told Rachel to shove it, cos she keeps trying to run 'their' life according to what she wants, and isn't even considering his happiness, but why would she - she's all he needs to be happy, of course! I hope they break up -.-

The Finder - 'Life After Death'

May I begin by saying that 50 Cent is a better actor than I expected him to be? Of course I can, it's my blog.
50 Cent is a better actor than I expected him to be :P
And Walter dances exactly the way I expected him to XD but it was hilarious! I have friends who dance like that - Of course, they're all white too haha
On a slightly unrelated note: I really hope this show gets renewed for another season, despite having been moved to the Friday night 'death slot'...
Because 1) too many shows are off the air after this season, and I hate when shows only get 1 or 2 seasons to showcase their awesomeness (Accidentally On Purpose, Pushing Daisies, Mad Love anyone???)
2) It's hilarious. Nuff said. and
3) Walter/Geoff Stults is so cute! Lol
I loved the line where they're talking about finding famous dead people and they mention Elvis and Walter says 'Elvis is ____' and gives them an address XD that was beautiful - he really can find anything! (Unless that address is where he was buried, that'd be a little disappointing cos it's public knowledge)
I thought Walter was a little insensitive when he was talking to the dead rapper's family.. But Leo smoothed things over, he's so good with words, no wonder he's a lawyer haha
It was also really stupid that Glade (50's character... wait can I do that? Separate '50' like it's his first name?) was all obsessed with finding this 'stolen' music, because 'each track that's leaked costs me $2 million' uh... No it doesn't, it's not like you're having to pay and losing money, it's just extra money you DON'T get. Which is stupid, cos clearly the guy's a freakin billionaire already. Boo hoo.
And the part about the rapper being killed in a playground was weird... Who expects to find a rapper in a park? For children? Which was also sad - and did anyone else find it slightly morbid that his mother had a picture of that same park where her son was killed hanging in her restaurant??
I loved the experiment he did with Willa - one of the other amazingly unique things about this show, nobody else has massive 'scale models' of things and runs around conducting experiments 'this represents this, that represents that' with random objects!!
And Walter has strage epiphany-causing dreams (which honestly make me think he's on some kind of drug... Or just his brain's messed-up when he's awake, so of course it's going to be even MORE messed-up when he's asleep lol)
So the lawyer's a bad lady and the rapper (who whips out guns at the slightest opportunity, but decides to put it down in this case) is actually a softie? And the dead rapper was accidentally killed by his brother? Who was the real 'brains' behind the fame, because he (at the age of what, like 12?) wrote all the raps?
I gotta say, I didn't really see much of that coming lol. But it was good :)

CSI - 'Split Decisions'

This one was a fascinating concept, especially at first, when this scary fat clown-lady saw a man (whose slot machine she had just taken) get shot, and the entire casino was locked down so they were hunting through the whole place, trying to find the killer.
They find some girl who admits to recognizing the guy from the security footage - she says she had slept with him the night before, and then delivers possibly the funniest line of the entire episode: 'I'm not a slut.' HAHA ok c'mon you met him that night, in the hotel bar? And decided to film yourself having sex with him? Yea suuuure...
Sara interviews the victim's son (the man was a doctor) and it's so sad, his mom had died a few years ago and now his dad's dead too.
Then they found the guy hiding in a closet in a hotel room ... I can't remember his explanation for hiding lol but he says he never met the slut (or not slut...). And, of course, he denies killing the man in the casino. Then they find that his DNA matches the blood from the killer, and I'm hyperventilating at this point, cos i knew - he has a twin!! My sisters are identical twins, so I always consider that possibility when there is conflicting DNA evidence. Not only that, but this first guy has an alibi for the time when the 'non-slut' was being picked up in the bar - they find on the security cameras that he was re-entering the hotel from a baseball game at the same time as his 'clone' can be seen across the hotel at the bar. But he says he wasn't a twin, and his birth records confirm, he was a single baby.
So they figure that the guy who slept with the girl was the killer, and go find him - in bed with 2 other girls. Compared to him, the first girl looks like a nun...
He ALSO denies killing the man, says the 2 women are his alibi... But he's identical to the first guy, and has a different birth record saying he was younger and born in a totally different place from the first guy.
And the antibodies in his blood don't match that of the killer - neither do his brother's.
At this point I made a  big *gasp* face cos this was ripped off from an episode of CSI: Miami about four years ago, when these triplets (who knew each other, but hid their existance from everyone else) conspired to kill the one woman's husband. But back to the current episode...
Anyway, they track down the other guy and find him - dead. So case closed, right? Not so much - he was murdered. By the other two? After he did their dirty work? Not so much - more DNA at that crime scene implicates a fourth brother. And at this point I'm thinking 'geez comeon! Was the doctor creating a clone army??' (Because we found out that he had made in-vitro implants into all the mothers of the 3 men - and then they all had crappy lives, so they blamed him for creating them and conspired to kill him).
But no, Archie's facial recognition program scans the entire casino/hotel and finds the fourth brother - who was the doctor's son. I was actually very surprised by this twist ending. I can't remember why he did it, and I really didn't care... He thought his father didn't really love him, only his mother had, and when he found out (after his mother died) that she had been infertile, and that he wasn't even biologically hers, he snapped and found the other 3. But he made one mistake - he cleaned up and established alibis for the other 2 (not counting the dead one) and accidentally put himself on the line.
Good surprise ending to this episode, somewhat predictable line though - oh no there are 2! Wait now there's 3! And the kid didn't even really look like the 3 grown ones!
Still, I give it a 98 out of 100 - the percentage of the population that doesn't have a twin or triplet :D

Bones - 'The Bump in the Road'

I'm honestly getting kinda tired of blogging -.- All the typing hurts my arms, and often it takes so long to recap something that's happening, I get too far behind so I have to pause and type and then restart and type some more. And SOMETIMES the damn screen freezes up and I can't see what I've just written, or if I've made any mistakes - gee, it's doing that RIGHT NOW!!
Because I watch so much TV online, I often end up blogging at the same time. But i've decided to do somethign a little different this week - watch the show first (on airor online) and then type a short summary of my thoughts AFTERWARD. That way, it'll only be my thoughts, rather than just a play-by-play, which it often ends up... And also it won't be as incredibly LONG as many of my recent blogs have been.
So, last night's Bones was interesting. I was expecting them to do an episode where she was still at home with the baby, and maybe consulting with the lab via phone, but they didn't so whatever. It was interesting to see how they suddenly made the baby six weeks old, (the actor baby still seemed way too old for that) and Bones was so protective. I found that hilarious, seeing that whole new side of her.
Booth and Brennan as a couple was a very interestign dynamic - when she was pregnant, they still seemed as though they were partners, and nothing more (minus the hilarious sexual tension they had in earlier seasons), but now that we see the 2 of them getting ready to work in the morning, and they're living together, it really sinks in for the viewer - and I have to say, I liked it.
A lot of the time, I cross my fingers for certain people on shows to get together, and then end up regretting the nauseating results (Finchel from Glee, anyone?!) but that's never been a problem on this show! Well, I hate Daisy and Sweets, but I never wanted them to get together anyways! In the earlier days, when Hodgins was courting Angela, that was adorable - and now that they've been almost married, broken up, one-sided  love, and now married finally - they still are adorable!
So anyway, I totally loved the accident Bones had when she was trying to send a picture of the body to the lab, but accidentally sent it to the director of her daughter's daycare instead!! Doesn't matter how high your IQ, everyone makes mistakes with their phones from time to time. I sometimes hit the 'reply' button twice, causing it to 'reply' and then 'send' a blank message! My friends always freak out cos they think it didn't work and I have to apologize, feeling very sheepish for my overeager clicking. However, I have never messed up as bad as that, sending a photo of a dead body - and then her reaction was so priceless, clicking the screen, and then going 'is there an 'unsend' button??'
Finally we bring back the cute southern guy (I forgot his name last week, it was FINI, which is so weird that I could forget that, considering there are now 3 Finns in my fave TV shows - First Glee, then this, and now CSI) but his storyline from this episode was so precious - he meets Cam's adopted daughter Miclelle and the two of them hit it off (Cam's face was priceless when she first realised they were flirting) and he takes her to a bluegrass concert (which I don't understand..) and then Cam got overprotective and told them to stop seeing each other but his little speech at the end where he said he couldn't stop seeing Michelle cos he couldnt stop thinking about her and he was crazy about it, so if Cam wanted to fire him, that was fine... So precious! And of course, she concedes that she was out of line and apologizes for being 'old' (Michelle's words) and that Finn can stay, so he and Michelle kiss and walk off together and made me feel, altogether, lonely -.-
The only 2 things I didn't like about that was 1) what happened to that girl Finn had been talking to at the beginning of the episode, in the diner?? and 2) Cam did have a point when she pointed out that Michelle always falls head-over-heels for guys and then makes bad decisions based on that - like turning down her dream school so she could stay in town with her loser boyfriend 1 or 2 seasons ago.
The insane couponing ladies scared the shit out of me - I've seen those reality shows where they use crzy amounts of coupons to (in my opinion, be greedy and) save a lot of money - but I never expected them to be FIGTHING over them! With fists! And claws! Holy crap. I also felt bad for the husband of the victim - sure he was cheating on her, but she loved her damn saving more than she loved him, so of course he felt neglected! He still wouldn't have had an excuse for killing her, but he was innocent so it's all good.
The angry cashier at the grocery store looked exactly  like the waitress lady from the diner they always go to O.O
And, in the end, it was the obnoxious-looking manager guy who had beaten her, causing her to crawl under the truck which eventually killed her. What kind of monster clipboard was that, I ask you?? It was a good 2 inches thick, and made of metal? After all, it dented her skull! Insane. And even better was Brenna's advice to him, 'You shouldn't hit people. You should use your words. That's what all the books say.' That had me doubled over with laughter.
Another highlight of this episode was the return of Agent Shaw! (played by the same girl who was Deb in Napoleon Dynamite.) I love how she's always 500 steps ahead of Booth, but a tad too eager to please... And the fact that she mentioned having a son was a little worrisome - they wouldn't put that in, give her more depth, unless she's gonna be around a lot more - or die. In fact, when she first showed up last season, it was the episode where they had been touting that someone, 'one of their own' was going to die and I thought it might've been her - which would have been preferable, given that the one they killed off was my favourite of all the interns, Vincent Nigel-Murray :'(
All in all, it was a good episode, interesting case, good character development, and very entertaining and romantic.
Why did I think this would be short??

Big Bang Theory - 'The Hawking Excitation'

I just realised I've been less than exemplary in my blogging about this show over the past few weeks :S But considering I'm not too sure where I left off, and too lazy to go back and rewatch those episodes just so I can write about them, I'm just going to jump back in  few episodes later.
We start with a joke about penis enlargement, and I am immediately glad I'm not watching this with my parents in the room.
Aaaand Stephen Hawking is coming to the university!! Not a surprise, considering I've seen all of the promos and recaps on the BBT facebook page, but exciting news nonetheless :) I'm also expecting this episode to contain many jokes about Howard being an engineer, not a doctor, since the plotline is that Hawking needs an engineer to help maintain the equipment on his wheelchair. AND there's the first one, less than 2 minutes in - causing Howard to change his mind about introducing Sheldon to Stephen Hawking. And Hawking, apparently, is the only person who may potentially be Sheldon's intellectual equal (and he's insulted Howard again).
Sheldon's super-jealous haha and Raj's the 'group historian' lol I enjoy that so much! I'm pretty sure I do that too haha (except none of the instances Raj mentioned were ever on the show, so I wouldn't have known about them!!) Howard says 'no' in a whole bunch of languages - Sheldon corrects him on binary - and LMFAO 'Lemme try Gangsta - Hellz Nah' this is so hilarious and Howard 'owns his ass' right now teehee
OMG Howard wants Sheldon to polish his belt buckles!! Does this mean we'll finally get to see the entire Wolowitz belt-buckle collection all at once??!!! This is so exciting!!! I have to admit, his Pac-man one is my fave, but if he has a Mario one like mine, I may die a little of happiness :P Damn we can't really see them, theyre not really arranged on a shelf like I hoped, he dumped them all on the bed, but that's a whole ton of belt buckes! 'Funny thing is, I only have one belt' HAHA it's true! And the way he said that sounded so innocent and cutesy haha he's a good actor, that one.
WTF SHELDON IN A FRENCH MAID OUTFIT???!!!!!!!!!!! MY EYES ARE BURNING FROM THE PAIN AND THE TEARS OF LAUGHTER
And finally Penny shows up, to lend Sheldon some moral support as he washes Howard's laundry.
And we have another 'Howard isn't a doctor' joke - from Bernadette! 'If  you don't want to be teased about not having a doctorate, get a doctorate! I have one, they're great!' That's even funnier when it comes from her for 2 reasons - 1, she's his financĂ©e but still teases him, and 2 - her voice haha
LMAO now Sheldon has to take Howard's mom dress shopping hahaha this is disturbing but also hilarious - unfortunately, since you can't see her they're discribing everything and I have a very vivid imagination haha
Ooh the last challenge is the most difficult of all, Howard wants Sheldon to give him a compliment - and awwe he actually gave Hawking the paper three days ago haha and he IS actually excited, just hidign it very well haha
Aw now they're actually talking this is adorable cos Sheldon's so excited and nervous but polite - but he was wrong hahahaha and unintentionally saying Hawking makes mathematical errors and then he FAINTS ohmygod that was priceless and Hawking was funnier than I expected (yes he didn't actually talk, and all those lines were written for him, but it was a good performance nonetheless.)

Bones - WHAT EPISODE TITLE? BONES HAD HER BABY!!!

Yea I'm posting this super-late but even tho I watched it on the day it actually aired, I was too lazy to run upstairs and blog on EVERY commercial break. So sue me :P
Hmm the case in itself wasn't of much note, except for the fact that Bones in the prison was funny - a giant brawl breakes out and she walks through unscathed, proving her point that they won't touch her cos she pregnant, and hurting a child is against the prisoners' internal 'code of ethics'. I was actually surprised at that point that Booth managed to get his way thru without being hit in the face or something - aren't law enforcement people really low on the list of people to protect in prison? - but he did struggle a bit, nobody leapt out of his way like they did for Bones.
I have to admit, when something about a cookbook was mentioned, I did for a while think the prison guard was the killer, because he bragged about bakign some cookies earlier in the episode. But nope, it was a prisoner - the same prisoner who had prevented the victim from getting beaten up on his first week. But here's what I didn't get - the victim was a Ponzi scheme artist, a white-collar criminal, so why was he in prison with all these gang members and violent criminals?? I guess that made for a more interesting episode...
ANYWAY on to the big news of the night - the addition of the newest character!! Little Christine Angela!! (I really began tearing up when they said Angela was her middle name and other Angela looked so happily tearful - then for some reason I couldn't stop).
I have to admit, that as an avid reader of the Kathy Reich's books (the series upon which Bones is allegedly based), I was hoping they would call the baby Katy (Temperence's adult daughter in the books), but then I was thinking that there was very little left at this point which the TV show had in common with the books, so I shrugged and continued sniffling - besides, this name is more meaningful, after Bones' dead mother, and her alive best friend :)
In all honesty, I knew from the moment that Bones started telling Booth how the manger scene from the Bible was fictional (and when I saw the promos in which the snooty B&B man tells them they can't stay here - and Bones threatens to squat on the lawn) that she was going to give birth in some kind of barn after being turned away from the inn (and seriously, was that at all sanitary? Why didn't they even try to call some kind of ambulance or doctor to come and supervise??). Also - the baby she 'gave birth' to was way too old to be a newborn, its eyes were fully open lol and for a breif moment I wondered if that was actor Emily Deschanel's real-life son...
But all in all, it was a very moving episode, made me and several of the characters cry (side note: when did they get around to fixing up their house? You'd think there would have been an episode where they moved in..), made me laugh a ton, about Sweets desperately wanting to be friends with Booth 'No soccer.' 'Oh c'mon, don't say that!' and then they devised that fake personality test so that they could try to convince Bones to give birth in a hospital (this was even funnier considering I was recently on DVD watching Sweets' first episode, and I clearly remember how terrified he was of Booth haha).
The only problem with this episode I had was of the inclusion of the ever-annoying Daisy - she took some of Hodgin's credit (the yelling when she was watching the camera was funny), she squealed over everything involving the baby, the fact that her presence reminded me of the one thing I dislike about Sweets (his taste in women) and that by her being there, we didn't get to see the cutie Wendell, the cute Southern guy (whose name I can't remember...), or the creepy-looking but nevertheless entertaining Fisher :P The ONE upside to her plotline in this episode was when she and Sweets were making out behind the desk and she made a realisation and took off, leaving him lying behind the desk with his shift all messed-up, to be found by the weirded-out and slightly amused Cam! And his explanation was even funnier - 'I was um, down here looking, um for that thing that, um I can't find... Hey why is my jacket like that?' *pulls it up over his shoulder* PRICELESS.
This was a great way to bring the show back, in a new timeslot no less, after the winter hiatus! Can't wait for next Monday :)
