Bones - 'The Partners in the Divorce'

As you all know, last week's kinda-sorta cliffhanger left me 'not impressed' hehe but hopefully this week will be better - I heard a promo that says Booth and Bones have a fight! :(
Dead guy in a burning trash can - awesome.
Awkward morning conversation because Bones wants to make breakfast and Booth is all 'I always make breakfast' - less awesome. And then they smacked foreheads when she tried to kiss him hahaha I'm always worried that'd happen to me lol.. Her hair may be back to normal since her return, but obviously their relationship is not!
Booth got brain on his shoe and had to hop XD Hodgins is right - it's nice to have all of them back together!!
Hey understatement Global announcer-man, thanks for the warning about the 'possible' forensic content!
Finn's back!! Yay! He's so cute! I'm so excited! He's so nauseous! Lotsa burnt dead flesh, and he's not loving it! Get used to it, country boy :P
Booth is not happy about something - shooting the heck out of a paper target, because of his angst with the whole Bones-making-breakfast thing lol (Sweets of course assumes there's sexual frustration involved) and then he makes fun of Sweets by saying 'you could try hitting the target for once' Oh no he didn't!! You don't pick on my darling Sweets! Then Booth gets called away and Sweets takes aim and SHREDS the middle of the target - attaboy!! :P
Something was found lodged in the dead guy's throat, looks like either the tip of a fountain pen, or (according to Hodgins) the symbol of the Priory of Sion.. So 'He was stabbed in the throat with a a fountain pen?' 'Or he was assasinated by the Pope!' 'Or... He was stabbed in the neck with a fountain pen..'
The victim was a divorce lawyer and his wife says something about him being ruthless at his job and always wanting as much money as he could get from his rich clients.
They go to interview the lawyer's assistant, and - I recognize her! She played Elizabeth, Ross' student/girlfriend in Season 6 of Friends! Wow, she still looks like she's 12 (just like she did 15ish years ago) except her hair's different.. Weird. Anywho, she had shredded some of the lawyer's documents because he had told her to.. And there's blood in his office! So it's a crime scene! Dun dunn...
Suspect numero uno is an angry woman who was divorcing her husband - but she's not so angry anymore because she's having a child and they decided to stay together and called off the divorce (supposedly, the notes on their last meeting with the lawyer were among the shredded documents) because they're so much happier now.. Something tells me that's not gonna last long..
Ok Hodgins stabbed a mango (and himself) with a fountain pen and proved he was the king of the lab by finding that the killer had done the same and ripped off a part of their fingernail when they stabbed the lawyer.
Aaaand Angela worked her magic with the shredded documents (I feel like I would be good at that - it's like a jigsaw puzzle!) and among them there was a photo of his wife making out with his assistant (Elizabeth-actress girl) and apparently he was planning to divorce his wife.
So she (the assistant) is called into interview and says she and the wife are in love, bla bla, she was going to tell him everything but he found out first and was really angry but she didn't kill him... And now the wife is in the wind. I gotta ask, why is Sweets the one doing all the interviewing now? I know he's a full-fledged FBI agent now, but I gotta say, I missed the sarcastic banter with Booth and the interviewee and Bones' accidentally insensitive comments, and Sweets' insightful analysing from behind the one-way glass.
Hahah Bones made a very impressive pop culture reference (To WilE Coyote, no less) when talking about the dead guy! They were discussing some bone stuff that I don't understand lol and then Bones figured out how he fell down a nearly-vertical staircase-type structure - it was the waste disposal chute at the lawyer's office (which was being renovated).
On the way there to investigate, she and Booth get in a big argument about who knows their daughter better (cos Booth sugested taking her to a carousel and Bones knows she hates them) which leads Booth to yell 'FBI! Angry FBI!' at the construction foreman (Why you showing him your badge again, Booth? He's already met you..) and Bones just kinda dives headfirst into a Lord-knows-how-many-storeys disposal chute while Booth holds her by the ankles.. And whaddaya know, blood!
They get back to the lab and are all polite which Finn thinks is worrisome, he says his mom and stepdad would act like that just before 'all hell would break loose', which I know makes sense, but in my family it's quite the opposite, the anger and frustration comes out straight away and the politeness happens after the fact, when thins are starting to get back to normal... I guess I lave more in common with Bones than I thought! XD
And there was a strsange substance inside the wounds of the skull - a sovent used to make models for architects. At first I wasn't so sure where they were going with that one either lol and then:
Remember that angry couple from earlier who aren't so angry anymore? Well the husband was an architect - and behind on his payments to his lawyer, and was still angry, and was married to a bitch with anger-management issues, and, and and.. So they killed him. Together. And she lied about being pregnant. Good. Any kid of theirs would have serious emotional issues.
So now Bones is upset because she thinks there's something wrong with her... Huh? Other than being not at all afraid to dive headfirst down a garbage chute, I don't see anything wrong with her in this episode more than any other.. But they're ok. And they ARE going to take Christine to the carousel (even though Bones insists she knows what's gonna happen.... Lol and they manage to kiss without smacking foreheads!! So clearly everything is all good!
Yay! No cliffhanger! But I really want to know what happened with that damn hacker-killer man! Grr..
They ended the credits with a beautiful tribute to Michael Clarke Duncan, who passed away a few weeks ago - he was an incredible actor who played Leo on The Finder, which was produced by Bones creator Hart Hanson... So sad :( It was really too bad The Finder was cancelled, I really did love it, but it wouldn't have been the same without him anyway, so I guess it was a blassing in disguise (the cancellation, not his death!)
So what'd you guys think of this week's episode?? The season premiere of How I Met Your Mother was on at the same time as this episode, so I'll find that as soon as it's online and post about it!! NCIS:LA also premieres tomorrow! And CSI on Wednesday, and Big Bang Theory on Thursday.. Damn I'll be busy this week! Until then, dear readers! Leave a comment!
Best of all
