HIMYM - 'Farhampton'

Well that was fast... Less than 3 hours after the episode aired, there are over 15 links to it online. Gotta love the Interwebs. So I figured my bedtime can be delayed a little just for this.
The last season left off with the mother (pun intended) of all epsisodes. Lily and Marshall finally had a baby, Marvin Waitforit Erickson (guess whose idea the middle name was?? Also, I'm not sure if that's one word or 3, I like the one word, it's kinda like a hashtag lol), Barney's engaged to Ex-Stripper-Quin, but in the flashforward we see that he ends up marrying Robin, and Ted and Victoria (remember her? They brought her back out of the blue) are running away together - on her wedding day. What is it with those two and weddings?!
Anyway, after we WAITEDFORIT for 2 months, it's back!!
Ted's at a train station in a tux, it's raining, he's flashing back (from then) to the flashforward (from the present) of his conversation with bride-Robin, she's freaking out and mentions a window which is a 'the same window' from a flashback (to the present) of the day Barney got engaged and Marshall and Lily are total zombies cos they had a baby.
Quin asks Lily and Robin to be her bridesmaids (and Marshall says yes) and they keep forgetting everything they were told... Lawl
We flash sideways (same time, different place) to Ted and Victoria in the car and it is revealed that Victoria didn't leave her groom an 'I'm leaving you' note, so Ted turns the car around and complains about her writing style and then is coerced into delivering the note himself...
Another sideways flash (this episode is making me dizzy!) and it is revealed that Quin has no clue that Robin and Barney used to date! How rude!
Ok now there's a tall German lady standing outside the room where Ted's trying to leave the note... So he makes Barney seduce her over the phone XD And he successfully leaves the note, and then... Locked the car keys in the same room. FAIL!
Aaaand Marshall and Lily are so out of it that they ALMOST say 'Barney used to date Robin' in front of the baby monitor that Quin could have heard and then it turns out she was in the same room the whole time XD BIGGER FAIL! She gets mad,Barney successfully tells just about every detail of all 7 seasons of the show in 52 seconds (what a champ!) and she leaves anyways.
Back to Ted, he's about to climb up the drainpipe to go get the keys when a dude comes out the other window and climbs DOWN the same drainpipe and it's Klaus! The groom-to-be! And OMG he's played by that guy! The one from Reno 911! And 17 Again! I don't know his name but he played the nerdy best friend and he's my favourite part of that movie!! Except suddenly he's German lol and he didn't want to get married either - but he DID leave a note!
So Ted climbs back into the bedroom, gets the keys, finds Klaus' note and steals Victoria's back, and climbs back out right before the bridesmaid comes back in!
And Robin has a boyfriend! Apparently his name is Nick and she told Marshall and Lily but they don't rememeber hahah.. I don't get it, there are 5 adults in that apartment but only Marshall and Lily are allowed to take care of the baby? Well, Robin and Barney both hate kids, so nevermind. Aaand Robin proved she has a boyfriend and no feelings for Barney, so Quin forgives her and him and Barney gives Robin a key and an address and apparently it's a storage locker where he put all the evidence he claimed to have destroyed about their relationship. Awwwwe...
Ted finds Klaus at the train station (the same one where Ted was sitting at the beginning of this episode) and Klaus uses some German words (Ted understands 'wunderbar' but nothing else haha) to explain true love and 'almost' true love... And Ted thinks about Victoria and we flash forward again to Ted at the same train station in his tux in the rain, and a woman gets out of a taxi... With a guitar.. And a yellow umbrella... BUT WE CAN'T SEE HER FACE!!! DAMNIT!!! And OK I think that's really unfair that he meets her after running out on the wedding of 2 of his best friends (I hope he didn't actually run out, but..) karma is not gonna love that one!!
Great episode, really funny, nice to tie up some loose ends (altho I was not loving the time travelling lol)
Until next week! (stay tuned for NCIS:LA premiere tomorrow!)
