NCIS:LA - Season 4 premiere

I'm really excited for the return of this show - After CSI: Miami got cancelled and CSI has turned into more of a science case file than an action show, this one (and Criminal Minds, to some extent) is my weekly dose of crazy action, chases, gunfights and explosions :P And the witty banter! Gotta love the witty banter!
Soo I watched the season finale so long ago that I've forgotten what happened... Thank god for 'previously on' recaps haha
RIGHT! I remember now - the Chameleon blew up Hunter and a bunch of other agents, he was threatening to kill a CIA agent who , there was an Iranian involved, and Callen shot him (Chameleon-killer) in a public place in front of a TV news crew, Callen was arested and Hetty handed in a letter of resignation.
We open with Callen getting out of prison, and who else would be waiting for him but Sam! Also the Iranian with some goons, but Sam made short work of them haha! Callen's suspended and Hetty's disappeared - I really hope they find her, the last time she took off on her own, she got shot..
Deeks and Kensi interview the CIA leak and threaten him with waterboarding and releasing him to the CIA.. The leak (Atley) tells them that there is a copy of the file in a security deposit box, and gives them directions to it. Oh, and by the way, the bad guys know about it, too... Hooray.
Granger finds Hetty on a boat ('scuse me, it's a yacht) and she says she's going to take off for parts unknown - but not before some creepy someone is taking photos of her (and not the kind they throw in right before and after a commercial break).
The creepy Iranian goons are watching Callen too - did Sam not get the message across the first time?! It's ok, Sam's watching. And all they do is stand there and look menacing and then walk off (after giving Callen a towel... Da hell who does that?)
Apparently they'll all be out of a job if they can't find the file and clear up whatever happened.. I'm still not 100% sure about that lol I'm trying to find a recap of the season finale but the damn IMDb page isn't leadong.. stinkin Internet.
Hetty is also being menaced by a guy she used to work with - who is working with the Iranians. When he leaves, she figures out that Sam was watching her (I swear, lady has eyes in the back of her head!) and says 'I never trusted that bastard..' eventually followed by 'you can find me at the nearest bar' hahha we can also find Callen there! And the Iranians! It's like a party, why wasn't Deeks invited... So Callen runs up to the scary men and says 'Leave Hetty alone, here's the name Agent Cherokee' (who was a CIA informant in Tehran, linked to the data leaked by Atley, it's coming together now..)
Granger says the only way to protect Callen is to get him arrested, and then looks very tense. And 'we only have one shot at this' Better get it right, boys! (Of course Kensi will, that goes without saying)
HAHAHA Kensi is causing a scene at the bank hahaha hahahaha this is hilarious while Deeks gets into the safety deposit box and gets the file (which is a USB) LMAO while Kensi gets kicked out of the bank I am loving this.. They're leaving and the Iranians outside who are staking out the bank go to approach them but their backup pulls up and they have to RUN! Kensi in a supertight skirt and boots that are at least three inches - Daniela Ruah deserves an Emmy just for that one! Now there's a gunfight in a parking garage, Sam pulls in, I'm typing withoug looking at the keaybosrf cod everything is happeninng so ast,,, That actually wasn't too bad lol I'm going to leave that sentence in that way just for the entertainment value :P And Deeks dropped the breifcase that contained the file!!! Oh snap!!
Every time they say 'Tehran', especially when Eric says it, I think theyre saying 'Toronto' for a breif second lol... There was a spike of info going in and out of Tehran, so Eric hacks the NSA and finds a very encrypted message going to Vasiri the Iranian, something about confirming information and Callen - but his cell's dead, it's too late :(
Callen's getting the shit beat out of him by Vasiri's goons which is causing me pain - except now I'm a little glad because he ran down all the passing of information - Atley the rogue CIA data collector found out about Cherokee the CIA agent in Tehran, sold that information to the Chameleon, who sold it to Vasiri, who tried to sell it to the Tehran government, but they wouldn't pay up until the information was confirmed - which it was, by Callen. Now Vasiri keeps beating Callen because he doesn't believe Callen is telling the truth, and so now Vasiri's threatening to kill Hetty. FRAAACK. Oh the bald guy that Hetty used to work with is the one he's sending in to kill her - AND SHE'S JUST SITTING THERE LOOPING BOAT ROPE COMPLETELY UNAWARE!!
Ok so Vasiri managed to call him off - and Callen says that the CIA made up the whole loop of the story, because they wanted to take out the guy who Callen framed as Cherokee (I have no hope of spelling his name, so I'll just call him that) and Vasiri doesn't believe that either! Damn what's this guy want to hear?!
AND THEN another twist, Callen says the Chameleon is still alive, we flash back and they planned the whole thing, he was wearing a flak vest and is in custody, now Kensi and Sam are bringing him to trade with the Iranians for Sam's release and Hetty's safety - and Chameleon-man is not happy about that!
BWAHAHA Callen walks past him and says 'Checkmate' attaboy!!
And Hetty is un-resigned, and all is back to normal!! Yay!!
OK it's revealed that Deeks had switched the USB drives at the bank, so the Tehranians had been mislead.. I missed what it had been (my roommate and our friends came in and were all giggling really loudly - it's contagious so I was distraced XD )
Oh yea, there was also a body that washed up in the marina that morning - it was the ugly bald guy who tried to kill Hetty. HA! She had said she'd never kill him in cold blood, but he tried to kill her, so I think that qualified.. But c'mon, she's a genius and she had access to a yacht - she couldn't do a better job of hiding the body?
The closing-up was well done, everything is solved and it's a fresh start to a new season - also the whole cast was live-tweeting during the premiere, it was pretty entertaining but nothing terribly revealing (about behind-the-scenes or whatever).
This was a good episode! I give it 9 links in a convoluted chain of information out of all that junk Kensi dumped out of her purse :P
I just have ONE question.... What, no explosions?
