NCIS: LA - 'The Chosen One'

Poor cop guy is talking to his family and (shouldn't he know better than to talk on the phone while driving?) sees a white van BLARING music and he pulls them over and I'm immediately worried for his safety - you know this is sketchy as heck.
He pulls them over, they flip their music off and he asks to see the back of the truck. When he and the driver go around to open the trunk, the passenger jumps out, runs around the car and shoots the cop! Damnit! Then they go to hop back into the car and drive off, but the cop manages to shoot the driver first and the passenger peels away.
Deeks has a goldfish so he got a huge tank and put more in. Each of the fish represent one of the members on the team, Sam's is a catfish, Kensi's is an angelfish and Callen's is a black evil-looking one that Deeks calls 'mysterious' haha.. And Eric's and Nell's are kissing fish!! Aww!!
Nellric as fishies.

The dead guy was a Chechen national, and the cop survived the shooting, thanks to the fact that his daughter always makes him wear his bulletproof vest.
They find the rental van on a security camera, and they find it, but it's empty. However, there are traces of a powdered ammonium nitrate (the fertilizer used in bombs) in the back of the van. And Kensi and Deeks talk to a super-OCD guy at the rental company, who gives them a very detailed of the other man who rented the van's clothing, but not his face.
Nell and Eric start talking about the kissing fish. Apparently the lip-touching is not actually kissing, it's their way of fighting. Eric is stunned to learn this, but Nell thinks it's hilarious. As do I.
I missed the next part because I was making popcorn.. But apparently there's a teacher-man who is supposed to come in and meet with the group who rented the van, and is planning the bombing - so Callen decides to go undercover as him (Hetty resists at first) and then they pull aside the real guy at the airport and Callen takes his place. The passenger from the van meets him there, and takes him to the rest of the group. The group leader looks a little like Hugh Jackman O.o There's also a woman, and an older man who I take to be some kind of hitman. Then the older guy stands up and shoots the passenger man! And I'm not sure why! They say he was greedy, which is why they killed him.
Callen can't take a camera and earpeice with him, so Deeks goes undercover as a pizza delivery guy and gets all snippy with the guy who opens the door (holding a gun) and threatens to call him boss if they don't pay for the pizza 'they' ordered. When they take it in, Callen takes it and there's a camera and earpeice hidden under the little plastic tabl-ey thing in the middle. Genius!
Callen talks to the girl from the group, and she tells about how she became a part of the group after joining Islam to get herself off the streets.
The Hugh-Jackman guy leads Callen to the van and gives him a pen and paper - he wasn't able to get the earpeice in, but he has the camera on the button of his jacket. Hetty realises that the teacher they intercepted was the martyr - the pen and paper are to write his suicide letter to his family.
Then Jackman-man gives the girl a gun and tells her that her most important job 'is coming'. Then he puts a bomb-vest on Callen which covers the camera, so they can't tell what's going on anymore.
They find the older guy in a van but the back is empty. Then they figure out that the target is an anti-Islamic writer who is going to speak at a university. Then Eric finds out that the girl who was in the group has driven up to an overpass on the highway and shot herself. They figure out that the purpose of this was to divert the motorcade of the author so that it would go past the warehouse where the jihadists had been hiding - where Callen still is and that's how they're going to blow him up!
We flip over to the inside of the warehouse, and Callen is tied down to a board inside, connected to a bunch of cans of fertilizer. Jackman-man is telling him how he knew that he was a fake - because apparently the real guy was left-handed. SERIOUSLY?!! They knew everything about this guy, except for the fact that he didn't write with the same hand Callen did?! Good greif...
And then with literally 7 minutes left in the episode, Sam and the team burst into the warehouse and kill Jackman-man, then take his cell phone, which was the trigger for the device on Callen's back. Then when Callen goes to get up, they realise there's a pressure switch under the board he was sitting on. At this point, I want to go 'ARE YOU KIDDING ME?' because HOW many times has CSI done that?!
GAH and there are like 2 minutes left. And then Sam cuts the wire. And everything is fine.
Seriously?
Oh, and then the fish are gone, it turns out Hetty took them, and found a fish to represent her. It's tiny, but when she puts it in the water, the others freak out and swim away O.O
