Bones - 'The Bod in the Pod'

I'M BAAACK!!! Not that I really went anywhere... I last posted on Saturday night (which was technically 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning), but I always look forward to the beginning of the TV week, and I hope you do too!! :D
So there was a storm, and a bunch of gunk was washed up onshore, and added to that was a body in a giant sealed tube-thing (hence the title of the episode) and Hodgins wants her to make sure it's human ahahaha (apparently it's male)
Cam's 'doctor-boyfriend' keeps texting Angela and begging her to get Cam to call him, but apparently they are over, and Cam has a new boyfriend, but won't tell Angela about him!! How rude lol all Angela wants to do is be a nosey friend/coworker!
Alright, I know Hodgins is sometimes not the brightest, but WHAT would posess someone to 1) open the pod-thingy with a laser (which was kinda cool, and necessary, as there was no seam) and then 2) BEND OVER AND TAKE A WHIFF OF WHAT WAS INSIDE?! He's supposed to be a genius, but whatever was inside knocked him unconscious... Good greif. They should have cut a tiny hole and tested the gas inside to see if it was toxic, then sealed the hole if it was possible lol
LMAO apparently it was just CO2 because the flesh had fermented, and he had inhaled too much which caused him to faint. And Bones keeps inadvertantly insulting him haha and Vasiri has to keep holding him up
The body had its teeth knocked out, and Sweets is still living with Booth and Bones!! Yaay!!
Why can't they just adopt him?? I know I would..
Bones is considering writing a children's book, and apparently Vasiri already wrote some poetry, which he let Cam read, and Hodgins decides to mock him for. (Unwise, methinks, considering his earlier fainting spell?)
Angela reconstructs a logo found on some wood chips found with the body, Booth and Bones (who need a couple name, have I given them one before?) interview a lady who worked at the lumber company whose logo it was; she was in a relationship with 'Lucky', the victim, who was married to a woman who was supposedly very volatile. Also, the victim's job was cleaning up crime scenes.
The victim's wife said that her son loved his stepdad, he'd been in a lot of trouble, and Lucky turned his life around.
Hodgins is talking to Vasiri, and he finds out that Vasiri was exiled from his country because of his poetry that he wrote and had published underground when he was in university. And this rebellion, of course, makes him much much cooler in Hodgin's eyes lol
LMAO Bones has been reading Sweets' books and is using his own psychology against him haha
A guy named Melvin was the owner of a rival crime-scene-cleaning business, and he and Lucky hated each other. He's also a good suspect, because Lucky's body was dissolved using a solvent used by such cleaning companies.
Sweets interviews Melvin and he says that he and Lucky were going to merge their companies so that they would stop losing money by suing each other. Seems logical - he also says that the stepson would be a better suspect, because he was against the merger. He also says that his tools, and Lucky's, would be totally covered in blood, due to the nature of their jobs.
Hodgins and Vasiri find blood on Melvin's tools, but none on Lucky and Davey's tools.

Side note: I KNEW I recognized the guy playing Davey, so I IMDb'd him, and I did know him from somewhere! He was the chubby brother Henry from one of my fave movies growing up, Cheaper By the Dozen!! Talk about a transformation!!
THEN OMG OMG OMG I KNEW IT!!! Cam finds in Vasiri's potry book, a word which she remembers as her name in Farsi (OK how did she read the book previously if she doesn't know how to read Farsi? Who cares!) ANYWAYS he says it out loud to her and she looks all doe-eyed and THEN Hodgins walks in hahaha and makes a 'surprised but enjoying this' face and then when they see him he goes 'nevermind' and they chase after him lol but Bones walks up to them and so they have to talk about the case. THEN Vasiri finds Hodgins in his office and begs him not to tell anyone and Hodgins plays it coy, like he could totally use this as blackmail, and then Vasiri says 'You could blab, and ruin the best thing that has ever happened to me, or you could keep quiet, and earn my everlasting gratitude' AWWW OK I really was ambivalent towards him before, but after this and last week, he's just adorable!!
Apparently the last time Davey saw Lucky, he was leaving a crimescene to pick up some lumber from the lady that Booth and Bones interviewed at the beginning of the episode. They interview her again, because Davey said that she was the most likely suspect, and she says the wife and Davey probably did it. So now it's a she said/they said type-argument. Great.
This next scene was so hilarious and cute at the same time, Angela and Hodgins are on the roof of the Jeffersonian together and he tells her that he scanned one of Vasiri's poems and had it translated on the Internet - but not properly, apparently, because one of the lines translated to 'you are my carburetor' LOL! And then they see Vasiri and Cam kissing down on the ground (which is not a good idea on their part, doing that so close to where they work, where they could be seen!!) Angela, is of course, shocked, and she realizes that Hodgins knew the whole time, but promises to keep the secret as well.
Meanwhile, Booth and Brennan are at the last crime scene that Lucky and Davey had worked, because they know Lucky was killed there, but they can't find any traces of Lucky's blood. Melvin is there and insisting they won't find anything.
Sweets gets woken up by Booth in the middle of the night - he says 'who's there?! I have a gun!' and Booth hands him a baby monitor because he and Bones are going to the crime scene and she uses a blow-dryer on the concrete floor and ABRACADABRA! It brings up blood! And it's Lucky's! And there are darker blobs in the blood that indicate knee prints which they measure and it becomes OBVIOUS that it was Melvin who knelt in the blood to clean it. And they bring him in and he doesn't confess even though they're like 'dude, we got you' and Bones leans in and says 'we brought you in, because I wanted to say one thing to your horrible face!'
'GOTCHA!!!'
She's awesome.
Next we flip over to Angela and Hodgins out on the roof again (I think that's going to become their 'spot' lol) and they're reading more of Vasiri's terribly-translated poetry, including this beautiful line: 'Bacon is silent - listen to all that we scrub' HAHAHA it kills me!! They discuss how interesting it is that Cam and Vasiri are dating, and then he makes up his own terrible poetry, which I can't remember entirely, but it involved 'blobs in the sky' and the word 'fish' was in there too hahah I think it's like Mad Libs!! Then they get all smoochy, and I love the way they kiss onscreen, how she's always laughing and he hugs her first and they're just SO ADORABLE!!!
Cutest couple EVER!!!! :)
Then Vasiri and Cam are talking and he tells her that Hodgins already knows, and they figure that probably he's already told Angela, and that soon Bones would probably know too, but she wouldn't tell Booth unles he outright asked and that probably wouldn't happen, and then he says 'But none of the interns can know!' So they want to tell everyone, but no one can know. Of course, that's so romantic lol.
And then Booth and Brennan discuss their reasons for loving one another - she has a list, and he just has 'a feeling' :) Awww!!
Looking forward to next week!
And I have no clue when I'm going to get around to posting my long-overdue CSI blog. Midterms, sorry.
