Bones - 'The But in the Joke'

There's a skinny shirtless Owen Wilson-lookalike painting up a poster on a billboard while muttering to himself, then his bucket falls and he falls too.
Then Booth and Bones are standing over him, and he's been attached by the glue to a dead body. Ick. Also, I want to know how he was found, since obviously no one had found the body for a while! The body has an arrow through the head. They decide to call the vandal Michaelangelo since he won't tell anyone his name.
Hodgins wants to use peanut butter to reduce the adhesion of the glue (good call, that's how you get gum out of hair!) but I think that would compromise the evidence... And they also realise that the arrow is not actually through the head, but rather on a headband, like the old Steve Martin gag.
Tadaah!
Angela sees the poster that he was gluing up, and thinks 'Michaelangelo' is an elusive street artist named Zed. He denies it, and Fisher agrees with her. But then later they give him a sedative and he admits he was this Zed, and Angela kisses him just she's a fan haha.
The dead guy, Morgan was accused of cheating on his girlfriend and when they go to interview the girlfriend she and her brother start laughing when they hear he's dead. Then eventually the FBI realise it was because he was a comedian and always played practical jokes where he was supposedly dead. But the arrow to the Apparently Fisher is also a comedian - but probably would be creepy and weird... But the girlfriend's brother Elliot is a huge fan of his lol
And Hodgins finds out that Angela kissed Zed and he gets annoyed lol - then the artist and Angela are talking about art and she feels sad about how her life and art have changed since she got married and had Michael.
The team watches videotapes of the victim's routines, and there's always the same heckler in all the videos. They go to visit this guy, who was also a comedian/bartender, and apparently he and Morgan had a bit that they'd planned, involving the heckling. There's also another comedian - who will now be taking over Morgan's Friday night timeslots at the club - who used a mallet and an arrow-through-the head in his act. The arrow is missing, and his mallet test positive for blood (Morgan was beaten on the head multiple times). And Rex, the mallet-man, also said that Morgan was a theif of everything - props, women, and jokes. Sounds like motive to me!
Hodgins feels jealous of the connection Angela has with Zed-man, because of their art. Poor boy!!
Then Sweets and Fisher decide that Booth should go to the open-mic night and use some jokes that they've written for him, and also use some Morgan took, that were stolen, to see if anyone would freak out and get mad at him. No one laughs at first, so he makes his own up and people actually like him. Then he uses the stolen ones, and a girl stands up and yells at him.
He interviews her and she says that she sold Morgan the jokes because she could 'write funny, but I'm not funny.' So Morgan was her source of income, and he wasn't stealing from her at all, so there was no reason for her to kill him. Also, the mallet from Rex was a false-positive. So we're back to square one.
They have a recreation of the sequence of hits to Morgan's face. Fisher says 'this is like the 3 stooges! At this rate, the weapon's going to be a frying pan!'
Don't knock frying pans! They're surprisingly effective!

Fisher ended up finding ceramic fragments in Morgan's facial injuries, and they figure out he died when someone smashed his face into a toilet bowl while he was bent over one throwing up. That's certainly unconventional! They send Hodgins to look at all the toilets Morgan would have had access too (he uses a gas mask to look at the one at the comedy club ahahaha)
He finds blood on the one in the girlfriend's apartment and this is what they find out - the brother Elliot killed him, because Morgan was throwing up because he was drunk, trying to work up the courage to leave Elliot's sister because he needed to 'grow up and get on with his life' (so said while he had the arrow headband on) and Elliot didn't want him to leave his sister - and him, because Morgan was Elliot's mentor.
Then Booth and Bones are talking about the whole point of comedy - Bones has an adorable nerdy laugh at Sweets' jokes that Booth tells her, and then he pokes his head around the corner with an arrow headband on, and she goes 'Oh my god! Booth don't move, you have an arrow through your head!' and she is so shocked and deadpan, then he goes 'no no no I'm OK'and takes it off and she bursts out laughing - I half-expected her to say 'Gotcha!' like last week.
Oh my God Booth you have an arrow through your head!!!

This week was so cute and (obviously) hilarious.. Can't wait to see next week!
