Nick and Robin are going to break up now because they haven't slept together in 3 days because Nick pulled his groin in Marshall's basketball league... Ted has a team too but they're all architects so instead they spend practise staring at the building and saying how they'd improve it.. And I just noticed something funny - Barney was about to take a bite of food, said a line, and dropped the same peice of food back into his container without actually eating anything!!
Apparently Nick is really dumb haha he doesn't think Gypsies exist haha! So they think Robin's going to break up with him and Marshall (who is working out with Marvin attatched to his chest lol) is all freaked out about the possibility of Nick being thrown off his game XD
OMG Barney threatens that if Robin doesn't break up with Nick, he'll send out an invite to 'Robin and Patrice's BFF Fun Day!' HAHAHA Patrice is back!!!
So she takes him to a dessert place called Splitsville that apparently is THE place to break up with people lol (I wish I knew a desert place, that's my favourite part of a meal hahaha) and then he gets a call and gets really sad and so she can't dump him (Marshall is really excited about this because he will not be able to play and not be distracted - but if he had a family member die, wouldn't he be distracted by THAT??)
Anyway it turns out that it was his doctor on the phone, and his groin injury is worse than they thought, it's going to take too long to heal so he's going to miss the tournament and Marshall becomes all hulk-like with rage ahahah
Nick tells Robin that they can have sex again because it doesnt matter his injury will take a long time to heal anyway, and then Barney runs down to the restaurant and interrupts and says 'you can't go home together, because Robin and I are in love' O.O
Who would have seen that coming?? (Well, I did kinda, but still!) So dramatic! I thought there would be a few more weeks after they broke up, where Barney is being his usual crazy single self - not that he'd be the reason they broke up!! And damn, this is awkward, because now Ted and Barney are in love with Robin and I dont know what Robin thinks of either of them, but I dont think there's ever been a show that I've seen with a love triangle between three MAIN characters before!!! Not like this!!
Then Barney says 'Robin doesn't want to break up with you, because you're a nice guy and she diesn't want to hurt your feelings. But she thinks you're dumb and she hates you. You're welcome' XD
AWWWW Barney has a huge speech about how much he is in love with Robin and everyone else heard about it because they'd been on speakerphone (which she knew) and they're all shocked too!
Plus apparently it's a bedroom dryspell for Lily and Marshall too because uncannily, every time they go to even hug, Marvin cries on cue lol so Ted takes him for a walk (what a good friend haha)
Barney says he faked the speech and Robin's skeptical but DAMN they're so cute... And her phone rings and it's Patrice WHOOPS Barney sent the invitation acidentally hahaha so she shoves him lol so adorable!!!
This wasn't so bad an episode, as far as breakup-episodes go lol except they totally wrote in the whole Nick-being-dumb thing because he was never stupid before, only overenthusiastic, like a big dog... Whatever lol he went home with 2 women from the restaurant who had also just been dumped, so I guess he's fine haha
