I gotta say, I was just thinking that they must be running out of ideas for episodes by mow - but this is certainly a new one! Someone's house got stolen XD Literally, lifted up and driven away hahaha.
At least the 'Jules/Finn' name mystery has been solved! Her name is Julie Finlay haha that's both in one! But you know that 'Finn' thing is gonna make me think of Glee...
So anyway, there's a missing wife in the house, and there are two brothers arguing (one is the husband of the missing woman) with their sister and each other about who owned the house in the first place.. Lots of complicated family politics lol
They find a traffic camera tht shows the house being towed down the street, and Hodges says 'that's the right address', to which Nick replies 'as opposed to all the other houses that were stolen that night?' which made me ROFL
They found the house in the desert, ripped in half with a dead guy under it, and lots of blood inside, but no body. Then the wife turns up and says she was out gambling all night, not at home, and Finn sets off a car alarm to prevent more arguing lol...
They find a dead body on the road which, they then realize, was dumped OUT of the same house while it was moving... And it was their kinda-step-father, that part was sad. Then Nick and Morgan find another dead body (mummified) in the wall of the house, and turns out that he's the biological dad of the sister, but not the brothers, even though they said their real dad ran off ten years earlier (after ripping off money from their step-dad, who was his business parter at the time). The dead guy also had a bunch of love letters with him, written to the siblings' mother (who used to own the house, then died) and they find a knife on the road, handle smashed to bits, which was used to stab the stepdad. (I loved Morgan's face when Russell told her to go look for the knife on the road, and take 'boyfriend Greg' hahah) She's so good at puzzles! I love jigsaw puzzles too :) but unfortunately we never have enough table space for them :(
The prints on the knife handle belong to the real dad (who was a criminal) so they track him down and interview him, turns out he killed the guy in the wall (they nailed him on that one cos the hardware store where he bought drywall and Stink-Away 20 years earlier kept 'impeccable records' according to Brass)
Aaand so they find that evil-dad killed girl's bio-dad, the step-dad, and the guy pinned under the house was killed by his own stupidity cos one of the jacks he used to lift the house off the ground got stuck, and he was pinned and crushed when he tried to remove it. (The mother was killed by a falling flowerpot that she tried to hang on the back porch, the wood was rotted from termites).
Turned out that the sister hired the under-the-house man to steal the house cos she was sick of it causing so many problems in her family. Then Finn and Sara go back to where the house was, in the desert and find all the siblings (and the wife, who I'm pretty sure played Ted's long-ago-then-returned-breifly girlfriend Victoria on HIMYM, she was also on a recent episode of The Mentalist) arguing over who gets the house (even tho it's pretty much falling apart). Then Finn pulls out a chinsaw and says 'ok you each want a peice? How about you get the bedroom, you get the livingroom..' etc and threatens to cut the house into peices hahah... Then Sara points out that whoever gets the house will have to pay for the shitload of damages it made to cars, houses, and other property, when it was being driven around (an amount which it worth more than the house itself) so they decide to dump it on the sister.
Finn later talks to Russell and tells him that she told the sister that she could donate the house to (something I can't remember) instead, so it's all good haha... And apparently the chainsaw was Sara's idea.
I loved the recurring of the way everyone always yelled 'Shut Up, Marla!' at the sister, and how they always referred to one of the brothers as an idiot, either 'you idiot!' or 'my idiot brother' lol
All in all, good episode :) I give it 4 out of 4 dead bodies found in/under/around the house... Only slight downside would be NOT ENOUGH GREG! But there was plenty of funny stuff and plenty of Nick, so it balanced out, I guess. Also - D.B. has really small eyes! And his glasses are so narrow that it makes them look even smaller! o.o And I enjoy Jules/Julie/Finn :P
